Zachary Kitts

Zachary Kitts is a founding partner at K&G Law Group, PLLC, where he concentrates his practice in the areas of qui tam litigation, commercial torts, employment law, and other complex civil litigation matters. In his False Claims Act practice, Zach represents relators in qui tam litigation under the federal False Claims Act as well as under state false claims statutes. He is widely recognized as a leading expert on state false claims act legislation, and was the principal architect behind the comprehensive 2011 amendments to the Virginia Fraud Against Taxpayers Act, (Va. Code §8.01-216.1). In total, his cases have returned more than $104 million to the public fisc. On the employment law side of his practice, Zach represents and counsels both employers and employees in a wide variety of employment-related issues, including executive compensation and severance, covenants not to compete and other restraints on trade, business torts, and discriminatory discharge, among many others. Zach has also provided expert witness testimony in legal malpractice matters and in attorney's fee disputes.
