I'm currently a general practice attorney in Bangor, Maine. My current practice concentrates on the following legal areas: CRIMINAL DEFENSE - I have experience representing clients in a wide array of criminal issues including common thefts, operating under the influence, operating after suspension, operating after revocation, felony domestic assault, and criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon. FAMILY LAW - I accept a wide variety of family law cases, including divorces, modification of child support orders, and parental rights and responsibilities actions. MENTAL HEALTH/CIVIL COMMITMENTS - My practice focuses on people who have been hospitalized against their will under Maine's involuntary commitment laws. I represent clients both with regard to involuntary hospitalization and related involuntary treatment. PROTECTIVE CUSTODY - My practice in this area of the law includes representation with regard to protective custody matters and termination of parental rights actions.
