From 1979 to 1988, I was a Deputy Commissioner of the North Carolina Industrial Commission handling all types of workers' compensation claims and Tort Claims against the State of North Carolina. Since 1988, I have defended all types of workers' compensation claims with a concentration in occupational disease and exposure claims, particularly asbestos related diseases. I have defended claims before all Appellate Courts in North Carolina. I am admitted to all Federal District Courts in North Carolina.
