About William Wyatt

Keith has been a Director with Ivie, McNeill Wyatt Purcell & Diggs since 1986. He joined Ivie & McNeill, Inc. in 1981 as an associate. The firm name was changed to Ivie McNeill & Wyatt in 1991. Prior to joining Ivie & McNeill, Inc., Keith was an attorney with the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles from 1978-1981. Keith has extensive litigation experience in the areas of personal injury, contract law, employment law, real estate, and criminal law. He has tried over 60 civil jury trials, and he has been a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) since 2005. Keith was a presenter in the Los Angeles ABOTA 2014 Masters In Trial Program. Keith has defended private, public entity, and corporate clients in tort and employment litigation matters for over 30 years. He has handled a broad range of litigation matters including but not limited to claims for wrongful death, catastrophic injury, sexual abuse, third party assault, negligent hiring, negligent supervision, premises liability, wrongful termination, discrimination, hostile work environment, and sexual harassment. Keith has served as a member of the Juvenile Court Panel for the Los Angeles Superior Court. He has also participated as a judge for the UCLA School of Law Trial Advocacy Program. Keith's educational background includes an undergraduate degree in History and Political Science from Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island in 1974 and a Juris Doctor Degree from UCLA School of Law in 1977. While in law school, he served as an intern with the Center for National Policy Review in Washington, D.C. in 1976. Keith was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1978. He has also been admitted to practice before the California Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court, Central District of California, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, 9th Circuit.
