In addition to litigating in federal and state courts, I defend clients in government agency actions and lead internal investigations into human resources complaints. I also advise clients on the full range of HR, talent, and people issues. My recent projects have involved: • Defending class, collective, and single-plaintiff actions that raise employment-related claims. • Evaluating labor and employment risks in mergers, acquisitions, divestures, and other corporate transactions. • Advising clients on weekly decisions related to policy design, employment contracts, performance management, disability and pregnancy accommodations, leave requests, wages and compensation, non-compete agreements, workplace health and safety, severance packages, business restructuring, drug testing and background checks.
