I'm a dedicated attorney at Hedrick Gardner with an unrelenting drive to achieve the best possible outcomes for my clients, whether that's in one-on-one negotiations or high-stakes courtroom battles. My legal journey began in workers' compensation, where I defended prominent retailers and insurance companies in claims before the North Carolina Industrial Commission. But my unending curiosity and clients' evolving needs naturally led me into the dynamic world of civil litigation. Today, my practice spans insurance coverage, first-party claims, and general liability matters including premises liability and motor vehicle negligence. My focus areas are commercial general liability, auto policies, homeowners coverage, and rental dwelling disputes; areas where precision and strategic thinking make all the difference. Before law school, I led e-Discovery teams for a global consulting firm on high-stakes securities and litigation matters. I also spearheaded data breach response initiatives, helping clients navigate rapidly evolving privacy landscapes. These experiences taught me to think strategically under pressure and lead teams through complex challenges. When I'm not advocating for clients, you'll find me exploring Charlotte's greenways on my bike, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, or crafting something new in my woodworking shop.
