I'm Whitnie Wiley, founder of Shifting Into Action (SIA), and for more than 25 years, I've been walking alongside next-stage leaders and professionals as they step into the fullness of who they're called to be.My work is built on a simple premise: your career should reflect your gifts, serve your life, and matter beyond the bottom line. That belief shapes everything I do, from bespoke one-on-one and group coaching, mastermind facilitation, and retreats to partnering with organizations on succession planning, leadership development, and talent strategy.Before founding SIA, I built the legal department at the Association of California Water Agencies from the ground up, including its legislative intern/externship and mentoring programs, work that taught me that developing people is the work, no matter what the job title says.Since then, I've had the privilege of serving in leadership roles with the Association of Corporate Counsel and the California State Bar, and volunteering my expertise through nonprofits like Catchafire and Lepris. I wrote the Lead the Way column for ACC's Docket magazine for nearly seven years, reaching a global readership with practical insights on career and leadership. I've hosted the Love Your Work podcast and co-hosted Life, Lemons & LemonDrops™ and The State of Leadership: SIMPLE & Beyond™.I've also contributed to bestselling collections including The Joy of Work, Voices of Leadership, Women Who Empower, and The Fearless Entrepreneurs, and I'm currently preparing to the release of my first solo effort: Wisdom Whispers, a devotional, and in process of co-authoring SIMPLE(ly) Strategic Leadership™ alongside the launch of The SIMPLE Leadership Method™, a holistic program designed to develop the whole leader.Great leadership and cultures don't happen by accident; they’re developed with intention.
