Wendy Weathers

Wendy Marie Weathers, Esq has represented both institutional lenders and borrowers in all aspects of the mortgage banking industry and residential foreclosures, consumer bankruptcy and landlord tenant for nearly 30 years. She is admitted to practice in New York since 1997, and is admitted to all four federal and bankruptcy districts in New York and federal district of Connecticut. She earned her B.A. degree from SUNY Stony Brook and her Juris Doctorate from City University of New York School of Law. Ms. Weathers is passionate in empowering the next generation of attorneys. Ms. Weathers has been published in industry magazines and has held numerous CLE training seminars in foreclosure, bankruptcy, loss mitigation, and post foreclosure sale issues. Ms. Weathers is deeply involved in several professional organizations. She is the President of the Westchester County Bar Association (WCBA). Ms. Weathers was a former Delegate of the House of Delegates of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA). Ms. Weathers is a co-chair of the Bankruptcy Committee and a co-chair of the Practice Management Committee of the Westchester Women’s Bar Association (WWBA) as well as a Board Member. She is also a former co-chair of the Bankruptcy Committee of the Fairfield County Bar Association (FCBA). She is also an active member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA) and the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York (WBASNY).
