Anthony Holman focuses his practice on financial services litigation and is frequently engaged to handle issues that arise from mortgage debt collection, ranging from contract negotiation, foreclosure, bankruptcy and litigation for residential and commercial properties. He frequently handles the defense of claims under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), and unfair and deceptive trade practices statutes.Anthony also has experience representing clients in title curative matters, student loan disputes, insurance claims, defense of tort claims including lead paint exposure, replevin/detinue cases, receiverships, and tax sale matters. Anthony also counsels clients on regulatory compliance and advises on enforcement actions and investigations. Prior to joining Stradley Ronon, Anthony was an attorney at several Maryland and Virginia-based law firms, where he represented mortgage lenders and loan servicers.
