I have extensive experience as a seasoned litigator and trial attorney. I have been a Partner in top-of-mind international law firms and have conducted internal investigations in the U.S. and abroad on multi-million dollar matters involving allegations of C-Suite wrongdoing. I have represented clients in high-profile cases, including successful product liability, employment, and trade secret and copyright trials. My goal is, and has always been, to strategically foster my clients' business success. My core experience, expertise, and interests involves representing clients in both civil and criminal litigation and investigation matters. My cases typically include some aspect of government involvement or claimed violations of state and federal regulations or statutes. I have represented clients in False Claims Act matters, claims brought by the Federal Trade Commission, employment discrimination cases involving a federal research facility, allegations of fraud and breach of contract brought against a client by a state, and allegations that a school board inappropriately spent bond monies in violation of California law. I have also conducted criminal and civil investigations, nationally and internationally, including FCPA investigations in China and Japan. In addition, I have handled and managed state and federal civil cases from the filing of complaints to discovery and trial. From 1992 to 1996, I was Assistant United States Attorney for the United States Attorney's Office, Central District of California, Criminal Division in Los Angeles. .
