About Vanessa Gonzalez
Vanessa Gonzalez, Esq., a first-generation daughter of Cuban and Colombian immigrants, has dedicated her career to defending the immigrant community. Since 2015, Vanessa has helped thousands of clients achieve successful results in cases ranging from naturalization, adjustment of status, consular processing, affirmative asylum, U-Visa, and removal defense. As Managing Attorney of the Immigration Department at The Matian Firm, Vanessa oversees 35 attorneys and 175+ support staff across offices in California, Nevada, Texas, and Arizona. Vanessa is also a regular guest on major Spanish-language television/radio programs, answering immigration questions from listeners and informing the public about immigration options. Vanessa is admitted to State Bar of California and The Florida Bar. She earned her law degree with honors from the University of Miami – School of Law, and received her B.A. from Boston College, Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences.
