Brette Bensinger advises employers on employment laws and regulatory compliance. Brette has successfully litigated class actions and multi-plaintiff lawsuits in federal and state courts - and has defended employers before governmental agencies at the federal, state and local levels. Outside of the courtroom, she has been commended by clients for her practical advice and guidance in avoiding lawsuits. Brette's practice includes workforce investigations; addressing complaints of retaliation, discrimination and harassment; wage and hour compliance; non-competes; executive compensation; training; as well as workplace violence and personal injury. Her legal skills have been recognized by the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin and is a 40 under Forty award recipient. Since 2018, Brette has received distinction as a Leading Lawyer, awarded to less than 5% of attorneys in Illinois. She recently served as the Chair of the Founders' Board Advocacy Committee at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago and remains active on the Board.
