An experienced attorney that works closely with business leaders, in-house counsel, and human resources to navigate every day, as well as unusual and unique, subject matters and issues that arise in today's workplaces. My goal as an attorney and business partner is to be able to provide advice, counsel, and practical solutions that are simultaneously practical, consistent with the law, in the best interests of the business, and are fair to all involved. A firm believer that while "me too" is the catch phrase of the day, and an important one, it is just as important (and has been for more than the last two decades) to not lose sight on the fact that businesses should be paying equal attention to any type of disparate or hostile treatment and conditions in the workplace. Available to: conduct workplace investigations and training; provide advice, counsel, and compliance, and representation in connection with all facets of law, including Title VII, ADA, FMLA, ADEA, as well as state and city laws, wage and hour compliance, union avoidance, labor relations, restrictive covenants/non-competes, employment and non-employment contracts, reductions in force, and family, medical and disability accommodations and leaves;, and drafting of legal documents, including personnel policies and procedures; draft, review and/or negotiate a wide range of employment and commercial contracts. Additionally, I am available to counsel or defend employers in all types of federal and state court litigation, as well as represent and defend employers in connection with administrative actions (commenced at, or brought by, the EEOC, Department of Labor, the NLRB as well as equivalent state and city agencies).
