About Tracee Benzo
Tracee R. Benzo is the founder and relentless energy behind Benzo Law, a boutique litigation firm, serving injured workers across the state of Georgia. After working tenaciously on behalf of injured workers for more than 10 years as a paralegal, an associate attorney, and later a partner at Hasner Law, Tracee opened the doors of Benzo Law with the mission to both educate and advocate for injured workers. Establishing a boutique litigation firm has enabled Tracee to offer the top-tier services her clients deserve such as visiting those who live in rural areas of Georgia, educating both clients and their families on their injuries and the litigation process, and treating clients as an integral part of the Benzo Law family. When she is not visiting clients or advocating on their behalf in the courtroom, Tracee is strengthening her legal skills and cultivating her role as a leader and legal colleague by serving on several boards and committees. She is an active member of the John Marshall Law School Alumni Board, Leadership Georgia Class of 2018, and is the New Member Orientation Chair for the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. She proudly serves on the State Bar of Georgia Board of Governors as a representative of the Atlanta Circuit. She is the President-Elect of the DeKalb Lawyers Association. In 2014 she served as president of The Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys (GABWA), and today she remains an active board member of GABWA and the GABWA Foundation. She graduated with distinction from John Marshall Law School in Atlanta and just six years later was awarded John Marshall Law School's Distinguished Alumni Award. She was named Who's Who Top Legal & Accounting Professionals, The National Bar Association's Top 40 Under 40 and the Top 100 Women of Influence. Tracee earned her Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies and Speech and Communications from Clemson University, and her paralegal certification from DeKalb Technical College.
