Tony Sgro, Esq., a partner of Sgro & Roger, LLC, is admitted to practice law in the State of Nevada, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and he also handles cases in California, Utah, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, Montana, Illinois, Texas, Florida, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and New York.After several years, he started his own practice, and became a “death qualified” attorney. He focused on defending those charged with capital murder offenses. Mr. Sgro was able to transition the skillset he learned and his unique trial experience to branch out into other areas of law, including personal injury, entertainment, and business law. Since the beginning of his career, Mr. Sgro has tried over 120 jury trials in both the civil and criminal arena. Most notably, Mr. Sgro secured the largest slip and fall personal injury verdict to be awarded against Walgreens corporation, as well as a real estate verdict in excess of $40 million. Several years ago, Mr. Sgro again expanding his practice to include the representation of various athletes, musicians, and celebrities as general counsel and part owner for Matador Entertainment, LLC, a boutique entertainment company. He is also a founding member of an online gaming platform which recently went public on the NASDAQ stock exchange under the callsign of EBET. In addition, Mr. Sgro is a founding member and owner of the Pizza Forte and Sushi Joe’s franchises. Mr. Sgro also works with his partner David Roger, who joined the Las Vegas Police Protective Association as their general counsel in 2011. Sgro and Roger now works alongside the PPA relative to labor matters as well as handling any criminal matters for union members. Moving forward, Mr. Sgro continues to practice law and his firm continues to grow. They currently have plans to expand to other states. Additionally, Mr. Sgro is a current board member for Boys Town Nevada a non-profit organization.
