Still thinking of myself as an LA guy despite having lived the last 47 years in the San Francisco Bay Area, and still thinking of myself as a dirty little kid from Hawthorne despite having struggled my entire life to rise above my humble beginnings, and, yes, still thinking of myself as a young man despite having my once lush brown hair segue into thin grey, it's time to leave the lawyer’s life behind, in favor of the writer’s.
