I offer a unique combination of training and experience in transactional law and complex business litigation. My broad legal background includes 20+ years of achievements as a corporate counselor and business litigator, with diversified experience including corporate and commercial law, mergers & acquisitions, real estate, securities and capital markets. I have represented public and private companies in strategic acquisitions and divestitures and responsible for all phases of same, including planning, coordinating and supervising due diligence in exploring the opportunities and risk inherent in such transactions, and the structuring, negotiating and drafting of agreements in the consummation of such transactions. My practice has recently become increasingly involved in providing corporate guidance to businesses in the rapidly growing and evolving medical and recreational cannabis markets. In collaboration with the Frantz Ward’s Cannabis Law and Policy Group, my practice is uniquely positioned to meet the needs, challenges and opportunities of retailers, processors, growers, and related businesses in the cannabis industry. Prior to focusing my practice on corporate law and transactional matters, I gained significant experience in business litigation matters and represented companies, securities broker-dealers, banks and financial institutions in complex business disputes.
