Tisha Harman

Tisha Lene Harman, a senior partner at A Center for Children & Family Law, is a licensed attorney in California and before the United States Supreme Court. Tisha dedicates her practice to custody and divorce, minor representation, adoption litigation, step-parent adoption, foster child adoption, adoption, guardianship, and Infertility/Reproductive law. Tisha's dedication, experience and ability to work with families has fostered recognition from many Superior Court Judges and Commissioners. For over 22 years, the Courts have relied on her knowledge and expertise, appointing her to represent minor children in highly contentious matters. Tisha is highly dedicated to her clients and to helping them work through some of the most difficult situations that face a family when divorce or custody become an issue. To date, Tisha has represented over 1,000 children in Court appointed cases in regard to parental conflict contested adoptions, adoption set-asides, domestic violence, sexual/physical/emotional abuse, ritual abuse, paternity, foster child adoptions, contested abandonments, contested guardianships, restraining orders and contempt cases. While representing children in Court appointed cases is a major focus in Tisha's practice, she also represents many families in private matters seeking her assistance related to their children and grandchildren. In addition to helping create families through adoption and Assisted Reproductive Technology, she is one of the very few attorneys in California devoted to Infertility and Reproductive Law, representing many infertile couples with achieving the dream of having a baby through ovum donation or surrogacy. This field is very close to Tisha's heart, as she herself, has suffered with infertility.
