About Timothy Newton
I value providing practical solutions and guidance for employers that allows legal compliance while at the same time preserving a client's ability to run their business. In litigation, I work with my client to identify their goals in defending the case. If the goal is to mount a vigorous legal defense and win the case, I will be a zealous advocate and work toward that goal. If the goal is to explore a resolution, I will work with my client on the appropriate strategy to get the case resolved. My task in representing a client is to determine the client's goals, and then partner with the client to achieve that goal in the most cost-effective manner. I have a proven track record for effectively advising clients on risk mitigation and compliance with a variety of labor laws including the ADEA, ADA, Title VII, FLSA, and FMLA, among others. Representing employers in both state and federal court, I specialize in navigating complex employment discrimination cases.
