Timothy Griswold

Tim has practiced law since 2008 and is a seasoned trial attorney, having acted as first chair in numerous trials in both military and civilian courts. He primarily provides legal service in civil litigation and family law in the contiguous counties surrounding Austin, Texas, and is currently a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force Reserves. He is licensed to practice law in both Texas and California. ​ Tim graduated, cum laude, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, College of Law in 2008, where he received a full-tuition scholarship. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Systems from Utah State University where he graduated in the top 10% of his class. He also has an Associate of Arts degree in Chinese Mandarin jointly awarded by Monterey Peninsula Community College and Defense Language Institute in 1998, where he was awarded the Provost's Award as the top academic student. He served in Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2003-2004. As a hobby, Tim is an ardent practitioner of Taijiquan. In 2016, he won the nationwide "Push Hands King Competition," sponsored jointly by the International Wushu Sanshoudao Association (IWSD) and Tigerclaw. He also writes articles for Kungfu Tai Chi Magazine and is the legal consultant for the US branch of the International Wushu Sanshou Dao Association.
