Tim Mcduffey

Tim McDuffey is a practicing attorney in the State of Missouri. Tim is a licensed member of the Missouri Bar and the Missouri Bar Association. In 2010, Tim founded the McDuffey Law Firm, LLC. In 2018, the firm took on a partner, Brad Medcalf, and the law firm of McDuffey & Medcalf, LLC was created. Since the law firm's creation in 2010, McDuffey & Medcalf, LLC has expanded to three (3) locations in Missouri: Lake of the Ozarks, Jefferson City, and Lebanon. The firm has served over 3,000 clients and has recovered over $50 million in verdicts, awards, and settlements for those clients. Tim went to Law School at the University of Missouri. Tim received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Missouri in 1994. In law school, Tim graduated in the top 10% of his law school class. He was honored by being selected to the University’s Law Review. He was also the recipient of the Law School’s award for top honors for professional ethics. After law school, Tim went into private and began working on his skills as a trial attorney. As a trial attorney, Tim has also had outstanding success and received numerous awards and honors. Tim's most famous case was Johnson v. Allstate Insurance Company. The Johnson case was tried to a jury and Tim's clients were awarded $16.2 Million. The case was appealed to the Missouri Court of Appeals and affirmed. The Johnson case is cited as an authority around the country on Insurance Bad Faith litigation. Tim is also active in the Missouri Bar. He has served in the past on the Missouri Board of Governors and the Young Lawyers Section Counsel of the Missouri Bar. He has been a guest speaker for the Missouri Bar Associations on the topics of jury selection/voir dire and workers' compensation. Tim is also an active member of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, The Missouri Bar Association, The Camden County Bar Association, and the U.S. District Court.
