I've been representing companies and executives in labor and employment matters for over 30 years. I also serve as general counsel to a number of healthcare regulatory and certification organizations. My work ranges from day-to-day advice to litigating disputes throughout the United States. I've been with Vedder in Chicago since 1996 and practicing law since 1993. At Vedder Price, I've served in many leadership positions, including Global Chair of the Labor and Employment Practice and a member of the Board of Directors. This includes litigating disputes in courts and agencies throughout the United States. I have handled cases in over 25 states from coast to coast. My counseling and litigation work includes workforce reductions; discipline and discharge; harassment and workplace investigations; disability accommodation; FMLA compliance; wage and hour compliance; class and collective actions; and policy development and administration. I also handle labor arbitrations and collective bargaining, Department of Labor audits, wage and hour compliance audits and pay equity audits. As outside general counsel to healthcare regulatory and certification organizations, I handle the full range of legal issues and board governance matters.
