After almost thirty years of starting, growing and running successful manufacturing and service businesses, I decided to pursue the goal I had as a 17 year old freshman at Northwestern. I went to law school at 54 and never looked back. Being an attorney is the culmination of lifetime spent finding creative ways to solve problems. When I was a manufacturer, I designed product solutions that responded to what customers wanted - even before they knew what they wanted. As a consultant, I asked myself what I would do if I were the client and came up with ideas that consistently helped my clients grow and succeed. Now that I'm an attorney, I try to look at legal problems through the same lens and find creative solutions or approaches. I'm big on defining objectives, then developing strategies to reach them and tactics to support the strategies. I possess unique insights into what it takes to succeed in business and the legal problems entailed in achieving lasting business success. I bring this experience and insight to business clients in my law practice.
