Thomas Moyher

The majority of my practice focuses on the defense of discrimination and harassment lawsuits including wage and hour cases in state court, federal court, the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. My practice also focuses on the drafting and enforcement of employment agreements including non-compete and confidentiality clauses. I earned my Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Hofstra University School of Law, where I was a continuous member of the Dean's List. While in law school, I served as a Research Editor for the Hofstra Labor & Employment Law Journal wherein I also had my student note published. I also was a Research Editor for Professor Roy D. Simon - Simon's New York Code of Professional Responsibility Annotated. When not in class, I completed training to earn a Certificate in Mediation from Hofstra University School of Law. Prior to law school, I worked in various aspects of the business environment including working as a member of the Finance/Accounting department of the Bigelow Tea Company in Fairfield, Connecticut, after obtaining my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Connecticut School of Business.
