Tae Phillips

Tae is a labor & employment law attorney and litigator who serves as a strategic business partner to clients. He is known for providing practical and business-focused solutions to workplace disputes and issues. As a trusted and proactive teammate to clients, Tae has gained national recognition for his personal investment in client relationships and commitment to exceptional service. These clients span all industries, ranging from pharmaceutical, healthcare, manufacturing, hospitality, financial services, oil and gas, food processing, medical device, energy, construction, and technology companies. Tae is also the Co-Chair of Ogletree's Drug Test Practice Group, and is a national subject-matter expert and thought leader on workplace marijuana and drug and alcohol testing issues. Outside of substantive legal work, Tae is an active member of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) and Minority Corporate Counsel Association. Tae previously served on the NAPABA Board and remains heavily involved in advancing the interests of NAPABA and MCCA members through his service to the organizations. Tae also formerly served as co-chair of Ogletree’s Employee Resource Group for AAHPNI attorneys and employees within the firm. Tae also plays a significant role in mentoring younger attorneys and colleagues across the firm, and serves on his office’s recruiting committee.
