I'm grateful for the opportunity to work with individuals, families, and organizations to assist in resolving their issues through emotionally intelligent, thorough, and ethical mediation practices and training. My experience is in the areas of family and divorce, workplace and employment, small business and general civil disputes. After law school, I worked in a family law firm where I applied my skills in mediating divorce cases helping clients reach consensual agreement on spousal maintenance, parenting plans, division of assets and debts and allocation of attorneys fees. The family area has expanded into elder and parent-teen mediation. As a mediator with the United States Postal Service REDRESS Program and the Phoenix District Office of the EEOC, I have successfully mediated EEO workplace disputes claiming discrimination, retaliation or hostile work environment. Other cases have involved commercial, executive and managerial conflict, insurance, dental practices, breach of contract, real estate and negligence. Learning mediation skills will help improve communication and productivity in the workplace and at home.
