She was previously General Counsel for C&F Foods, a family owned company with 400 employees, plants across the U.S., customers in 30 different countries. As General Counsel at M+D and C&F, she has advised on cutting-edge regulatory matters, including broker/dealer matters, managing various regulatory projects, including coordinating across functions to help guide successful business outcomes. She has extensive experience with SEC, corporate filings, and FDA compliance and managing relationships with regulators. She analyzes and presents various legal options and advice to senior management, including, Chief Executive Officers & Board of Directors on such matters as compliance, technology transactions, employment, trademark, and copyright. Summer's duties include drafting corporate documents relating to entity formation & governance, IPO’s, structure and manage contract negotiations, including banking, IP issues, analysis & revisions of contracts. She has extensive experience drafting & negotiating non-disclosure agreements, privacy law & compliance, intellectual property issues, the representation of officers & directors of corporations, contract analysis & revisions of contracts. Further, she has litigation management experience. She has managed cases in areas including sales, contractual disputes, commercial real estate matters, premises liability, litigation involving major retail/ department stores, employment litigation, other tort and commercial related claims. Prior to practicing law, Ms. Bridges served as an executive at a start up internet company that was ultimately acquired by Yahoo.com. In her role, she specialized in strategy and online content. She enjoys working out at the gym daily. She loves languages and is conversational in Spanish and working towards fluency in French.
