About Stuart Glick
Stuart Glick's practice involves complex commercial, foreclosure and bankruptcy litigation. He has considerable litigation experience in both federal and state courts at the trial and appellate levels. Stuart began the practice of law through the Attorney General’s Honors Program as a trial attorney with the United States Department of Justice, where he was lead counsel in jury and non-jury cases in federal and state courts nationwide. Those cases involved complex tax, commercial, bankruptcy and constitutional law issues, in addition to significant claims of first impression, including a $500 million excise tax claim in the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation bankruptcy. Since leaving the Justice Department, Stuart has focused his practice primarily on complex commercial and foreclosure litigation and creditors’ rights/bankruptcy matters. He has represented lending consortiums, financial institutions, major corporations, insurance companies, retail establishments and shopping center developers in state and federal courts, including bankruptcy court. Amongst his areas of expertise is the representation of lenders in complex foreclosure actions involving participated or syndicated loans and lender liability claims. Stuart also has significant experience with arbitrations, mediations and debt restructurings. Specialties: Commercial litigation, creditors' rights representation in state, federal and bankruptcy courts.
