About Stuart Busby
Scott Busby is a 1990 graduate of the Emory University School of Law. He was admitted to practice in the States of Florida and Georgia in 1990. In February, 2015 he formed Busby & Negin with Ron Negin, after having been a long term member with Bovis, Kyle, Burch & Medlin, LLC. He graduated with honors from Asbury College in Wilmore, Kentucky, where he enjoyed serving as the Student Body President. Scott also holds a Masters in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance, from Georgia State University. Scott practices in the fields of personal injury disputes, first and third-party insurance, employment law, general commercial and estate litigation, and handles litigation matters for local governments. He has appeared before the United States Supreme Court, the Federal 6th and 11th Circuit Courts of Appeal and many federal district courts. He has been recognized as both a Georgia Super Lawyer and Georgia Trend Legal Elite by his peers on multiple occasions. On a personal note, Scott is a native of Atlanta, Georgia who attended The Westminster Schools. He enjoys focusing on his now grown up family with his wife of over 30 years, Dawn. Scott is also very proud of his parents who both retired with 40 years of service as officers in The Salvation Army, completing their careers in 2002 as the National Commanders for The Salvation Army for the United States of America. Scott practices in the fields of Personal Injury, Employment Law, Insurance Coverage, General Litigation, State and Local Government, Non-Profit, Premises Liability, Construction Litigation, Property Subrogation and Arson, and Trucking Litigation.
