I'm board-certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization — a certification I earned within my first five years of practice, the earliest it can be obtained. I'm a partner at Abraham Watkins, the oldest personal injury firm in Texas, and my name is on the door. My practice focuses on the cases where the stakes leave no room for error: industrial plant and refinery explosions, commercial motor vehicle collisions, wrongful death, and catastrophic injury matters where the human loss is irreversible and the defense is well-funded and well-prepared. I've tried twelve cases to verdict in my first three years at Abraham Watkins alone. I've secured results including a $20 million workplace safety verdict — recognized as the largest in Texas in 2009 — and a $60 million recovery for a family who lost their child in a commercial motor vehicle accident. In 2015, I was inducted into the American Board of Trial Advocates as the youngest member of the Houston chapter. I was a National Champion in mock trial and National Best Advocate in moot court at South Texas College of Law.
