Steve Darden

Steve Darden is the Managing Partner of Hunter, Smith & Davis LLP, a law firm that provides full-service representation for the business community, individuals, and institutions in East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia and beyond. The firm was founded in 1916 and maintains offices in Kingsport and Johnson City, Tennessee. Mr. Darden primarily handles labor and employment matters and he is also a Rule 31 listed mediator. Mr. Darden also serves as Chair of the Labor & Employment practice group. He defends employers and insurance companies in employment practices liability matters, including discrimination, harassment, hiring, wrongful termination, workplace safety, and workers’ compensation. He also maintains a traditional labor relations practice.
