Stephen Judge

Steve focuses his practice on complex civil litigation, employment law, and healthcare law. In his litigation practice, Steve represents businesses in all phases of litigation, including complex class action and multidistrict litigation, in a variety of areas including products liability, health care, employment discrimination, antitrust, and contract disputes. He has represented clients before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the Indiana Court of Appeals, the Indiana Supreme Court, and the Michigan Supreme Court. In his employment law practice, Steve advices to advise clients on a wide range of labor and employment law issues, including employment discrimination laws and wage and hour laws. He regularly helps local, regional, and national businesses navigate difficult employment-related issues. In his health care practice, Steve advices to advise clients on a wide range of health care regulatory and compliance issues, including fraud and abuse and data privacy and security. He has advised the full spectrum of health care service providers and has also represented financial institutions and investors involved in public and private financing of healthcare ventures. Before joining SouthBank Legal, Steve practiced with international law firms ranked in the AmLaw100, first focusing on healthcare regulatory counseling and advocacy in Washington, D.C. and more recently on complex commercial litigation and antitrust in South Bend. Steve also honed his writing and analytical skills as a law clerk to the Honorable Daniel A. Manion of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the Honorable Jon E. DeGuilio of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, gaining experience on a wide array of federal issues.
