Stephen Agan

Mr. Agan received his Undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1995, with a B.A. in English. He earned his J.D. from The University of Houston Law School in 1999, where he received a Distinguished Service Award from the faculty for his contributions to the law school community. For over 20 years, Mr. Agan has handled matters of civil law, including cases involving personal injuries, wrongful death, employment discrimination, wage-and-hour claims, premises liability, insurance bad faith, fraud, property disputes, contract disputes, small-business collections, estate claims, and appeals. Mr. Agan has also volunteered in the Asheville community for many years. He worked with the Asheville Living Wage Campaign in 2006 and served on the Board of Directors of Just Economics from 2007-2008. He served as President of the PTO at Isaac Dickson Elementary School from 2011-2013, and was a member of the Board of Directors of the Asheville City Schools Foundation from 2014-2017, where he served as Chair of the Advocacy Committee for the Foundation during the 2015-16 school year.
