About Stacy Dominguez

Stacy Dominguez is a partner in the firm’s Business Trial Practice Group, specializing in disability access discrimination claims under both the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) and state accessibility standards (including California's Unruh Civil Rights Act) and other pre-litigation and lawsuits involving technology and website digital compliance, including privacy and consumer protection. Stacy’s practice focuses not only on all aspects of litigation, but includes consulting on disability access issues to prevent lawsuits, advising on accessibility and consumer marketing and privacy policies, and implementing policies and procedures to train employees about technology laws. Stacy defends national restaurant chains, retail establishments, sports teams, entertainment companies, grocery stores and other businesses that serve the public in disability access discrimination claims under the Americans with Disabilities Act and related state laws. She represents clients in disability access matters involving construction-related architectural barriers, class action discrimination claims, actions involving access policies and procedures, website accessibility, mobile applications, point of sale devices and other new media. Stacy has extensive litigation experience, successfully defending actions and winning defense judgments in favor of her clients. She is also a member of the firm's Food & Beverage, Sports, and Hospitality industry teams.Prior to joining Sheppard Mullin, Stacy worked in Crowell & Moring’s Antitrust Group with a focus on class action matters. She also spent several years handling general liability cases, including employment law, environmental litigation, professional liability, health care law, construction law, and general negligence defense in both state and federal court. Stacy also performs work on a pro bono basis in matters involving Veterans Affairs, adoption, and social justice.While in law school, Stacy was a member of the Moot Court Honors Board and the Traynor Moot Court Team and was awarded the George H. Mayr Foundation Scholarship. Prior to law school, Stacy was a member of the varsity volleyball team at UCLA and the recipient of the Center for American Politics and Public Policy Scholarship.Stacy is admitted to all state and federal courts in California.
