During my tenure, I have launched innovative programs and driving diversity initiatives.Most notably I… Deliver strategic thinking and vision to set organizational DE&I goals and new strategic plans. Integrate programming, selection, recruitment and retention practices aimed to uplift minorities and under-represented groups. Excel at securing a diverse talent pipeline and building pathway development programs to propel business-critical diversity initiatives.Selected Achievements:§ In collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and prevention, secured $7.5 million to create the Public Health Entomology for All initiative to encourage students and recent graduates to pursue Public Health Entomology as a create and work toward a future in which all communities benefit from creative, inclusive and equitable processes and Public health solutions.§ Serve on the Leadership Council and Planning Committee of the Societies Consortium on Sexual Harassment in STEMM, a coalition of over 80 STEMM Societies and Institutions of Higher Education to support academic and professional societies address sexual harassment.§ Engaged in the development and implementation of expanded ethics policy to require all who interact with the Society to uphold high standards of professional and ethical conduct and support members of groups historically excluded from STEM.§ As an Associate Director of Diversity & Inclusion, I developed and implemented a diversity and inclusion strategy for students and drive diversity programming in partnership with various stakeholders across the law school community.§ Held position as the Director of The San Diego County Bar Association (SDCBA) and Association of Corporate Counsel’s Diversity Fellowship Program aimed at providing opportunities for diverse, first year law students to learn and develop skills necessary to be successful in the law firm and corporate legal department environments.§ Built partnerships with employers to recruit first-year law students and managed the search process to ensure retention and program success. § Serves as a member of the Strategic Planning and Dean Search Committees and Executive Search Committee for the San Diego County Bar Association.§ Holds a Juris Doctor from Yale Law School and BA in Public Policy from the University of Chicago.
