Sheryl Ghezzi

With 40 years of experience in all areas of family and domestic relations law, Ms. Ghezzi skillfully guides her clients through this legal process, always mindful of the fact that she is assisting clients through an often emotional and traumatic period of their lives and addressing immediate divorce and child custody issues in an expeditious manner. Her broad range of services includes divorce, complex property settlement, business valuation issues; child and spousal support matters; prenuptial and postnuptial agreements; annulment and separation matters; parenting allocation (parenting time) and grand parenting time issues; change of domicile, protective orders; enforcement and post judgment issues. When disputes end up in the courtroom, Ms. Ghezzi is an experienced and well respected litigator. Ms. Ghezzi is also appointed to serve as a children’s representative or guardian ad litem in the Cook County court system. Representative clients include physicians, lawyers, entrepreneurs, corporate executives, business owners, clergy members, home-makers, teachers and union members, as well as their spouses. Ms Ghezzi shares her professional knowledge and has lectured locally and nationally in the areas of child custody, family law, legal ethics, civility and professionalism.
