About Shawn Oller
I represent management of both private and public entities exclusively in all aspects of labor and employment litigation and have extensive experience defending harassment and discrimination claims under Title VII, the ADEA, ADA, and FMLA. During my practice, I have represented clients in both federal and state courts in Arizona (2000), Texas (1995), and New Mexico (1996), as well as before and against federal agencies like the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and various state agencies. I also regularly advise employers on day-to-day personnel matters and practices, including providing telephone advice and conducting in-house training on employment related topics. On behalf of my clients, I regularly defend state-law claims for breach of contract, negligent hiring, supervision and retention, defamation, and wrongful termination. I have spoken extensively on labor and employment law topics before business and professional associations. I have taught review courses as part of the PHR/SPHR Certification program as well as a 15-hour seminar course for graduate students on Alternative Dispute Resolution.
