Shari Borba

Shari Borba earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences, Cross-Cultural Studies from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California graduating cum laude in 2010. She then went on to receive her Juris Doctor from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law graduating With Distinction in 2013. While at McGeorge, Shari Borba received a Witkin Award in International Protection of Human Rights, was inducted into the Traynor Honors Society, and studied Fundamental Rights in Europe and the U.S. taught by the Honorable Justice Anthony Kennedy in Salzburg, Austria.During Law School Shari Borba was active in the McGeorge Community Legal Services Program where she worked with the lower socioeconomic community in Sacramento. Shari Borba continues to be dedicated to giving back to her community in her work as part of the marketing department for the Oakdale Morning Market and volunteering at her children’s schools and coaching sports.In 2018 Shari Borba began working part-time as a watercolor and digital illustration artist while raising her three children at home. In 2021 she illustrated her first children’s book and in 2022 she authored and illustrated her own children’s book while growing her career as a freelance illustrator. Shari has expanded her illustration and graphic design business going full-time in 2024, licensing her work globally and providing design work for both large and small businesses.
