About Sean Olson
I’m Sean Olson, founder of Olson Personal Injury Lawyers. For more than a decade, I’ve represented injury victims across Colorado, Wyoming, and New Mexico — people whose lives were upended by someone else’s negligence. My focus? Personal injury, medical malpractice, and nursing home abuse. If it involves standing up for the underdog, I’m in. Before law, I was an Emmy-winning TV photojournalist. I used to tell stories with a camera — now I tell them in court, backed by case law and cross-examinations instead of a microphone and lens. Different tools, same mission: make sure the truth gets heard. Since 2012, Super Lawyers has recognized me every year for my work on behalf of plaintiffs. I’ve also taught trial advocacy at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, my alma mater, where I try very hard not to start lectures with “Back in my day … ” When I’m not in court, you’ll probably find me fly fishing, mountain biking, or navigating the wild terrain of parenting two kids and wrangling rescue animals in the Colorado foothills with my wife, who’s a much better human than I am.
