Scott Zurakowski

Scott is a director and practices out of KWGD's Akron, Canton, and Alliance offices practicing in the areas of complex litigation, employment/labor defense and oil and gas law. Scott's practice includes a wide range of litigation, including: contract disputes, class action and complex litigation, defense of class actions and mass actions in state and federal courts, trade secret and unfair competition, numerous cases involving non competition agreements, and defending employers in discrimination cases. Scott has tried numerous cases to verdict. Scott also defends management in employment related lawsuits and provides counsel and advice to employers regarding layoffs, discipline, terminations, sexual harassment and Family Medical Leave. In addition Scott represents employers on equal employment opportunity claims before the EEOC and OCRC, and advises employers regarding Union campaigns and NLRB elections. In addition to Scott's employment/labor defense practice, Scott represents producers, drillers and transporters involved in the oil and gas industry, including litigation before both state and federal courts in Ohio.
