About Scott Snellings
"You need a kidney transplant." There is a sentence you never expect to hear directed at you. After the initial shock subsided a bit, I decided that I wasn't going to let that keep me from living a full and amazing life...and here I am. After 4 years flying all over the U.S. defending auto manufacturers in product liability cases, I decided I knew enough to go start a plaintiff personal injury firm. So, another guy and myself quite our good-paying jobs in 2008 (the worst economy I had ever seen) and decided to hang our shingle. We found out that there was, in fact, a lot we did not know, but we managed to learn and create a successful firm anyway. Then the time came for us to go our separate ways. On September 1, 2017, I founded Snellings Law in Frisco, Texas. Two months later, on October 31, 2017, I was rolled back to the operating room right after my best friend, and I received his kidney. It was pretty surreal not just to be getting a kidney transplant, but to have it done on Halloween morning. As we have grown the firm, I have found a passion for business and running/growing a law firm. I have had a tremendous amount of support, and I love supporting others. I post a lot of content about running a law firm, including what I do that works and doesn't work. I also have a podcast, The Driven Crowd, where driven people go to learn from other driven people.
