Sara Sevillia

I am a licensed New York and Florida attorney with experience in all levels of litigation, from inception through trial and appeals. My strongest skills are my oral advocacy, research and writing, and settlement negotiation skills. I am passionate about using both my analytical capabilities and public speaking skills to zealously advocate on my client's behalf. My experience as an attorney spans more than 7 years in both civil and criminal litigation, government and regulatory affairs, and administrative work. As a prosecutor, I successfully tried over 20 jury trials (misdemeanor and felony) and 50 bench trials with numerous pre-trial motions and motions to suppress. In my current work as Assistant Corporation Counsel for the New York City Law Department, I defend challenges to agency determinations and rules that include constitutional challenges in areas of land use, licensing, housing, and public health.
