Since June 1994, I have been practicing exclusively Family Law and plan to continue to do so for quite some time. I also serve as a court appointed attorney for the representation of minor children in highly contested custody matters. I also serve as a Temporary Judge on a monthly to semi-monthly basis helping out with Settlement Officer Conferences/Settlement Conferences/Default calendars, etc.. whenever needed. I offer a free 1/2 hr appointment to those that have a family law issue within Santa Clara County. Although my general rule is that I do NOT practice outside of Santa Clara County, I have recently decided to broaden my horizons and handle matters in San Mateo, Alameda (i.e. Hayward), and San Benito (i.e. Hollister) Counties. QIF I feel that those Counties are more of a "homeboy" County meaning they favor their own attorneys rather then an out of county attorney then I may go back to only Santa Clara County. We'll see. The decision to go out if county will be in a case by case basis. I also am a member of the Family Law Executive Committee and enjoy being part of other SCC Bar Association Committees (Diversity, Law Related Education Committees) and helping with the High School Mock Trial Competition every year. I am an East-Coast transplant (originally from Massachusetts) although I did most of my schooling in CA. I am a lifetime member of the Cupertino and CA Junior Chamber Organizations (aka Jaycees) as well as their respective Auxiliary Organizations. I have met so many people who have become lifelong friends from these groups that I would not have changed my experience in a million years!!
