Ryan Brown

Ryan T. Brown is the founding partner of the Chicago office of GRSM fka Gordon & Rees LLP (May 2007). Now living is his hometown of Quincy, Illinois, Ryan assists in the oversight of the firm’s Midwest offices. Ryan is a litigator licensed in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri and Wisconsin, and he is admitted to practice in more than a dozen United States District Courts as well as the Seventh, Eighth, and Ninth Circuit Courts of Appeal. Ryan regularly represents professionals, employers, and insurers against complaints, claims, charges and grievances throughout the Midwest. As a firm-wide relationship partner with certain domestic and international insurers, Ryan also leads and oversees GRSM litigation and trial teams across the United States. Finally, Ryan has a number of high net-worth clients with whom he counsels regarding a wide-range of issues, including executive compensation, asset protection, and crisis management.Since May 2007, the Midwest presence of GRSM has grown from a single lawyer (Ryan in Chicago) to over 300 attorneys. During the same time period, GRSM has grown from under 200 lawyers in 5 states to over 1800 lawyers nationally, with offices and attorneys in all 50 states. The regional growth in the Midwest and the national expansion of the firm (with corresponding >10x revenue growth) have been profiled in numerous local, regional and national publications, including a recent Chicago Daily Law Bulletin article confirming that GRSM was the fastest growing firm in Chicago.
