Ronald Reed

Ronald ("Ron") Reed has 40 years of experience as a trial lawyer, working both as insurance defense counsel and plaintiff's counsel. Since 1997 he has consistently maintained an AV Preeminent Rating by Martindale-Hubbell. Ron started his career in 1983 as an Assistant State Attorney in Jacksonville. Thereafter, from 1986 to 1988, he worked primarily as a criminal defense attorney. Since 1988, Ron has worked exclusively in the civil arena, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in personal/bodily injury cases throughout Florida. He has tried cases from both sides of the table and is very much aware of the costs and risks associated with jury trials. He now focuses his practice and extensive experience on dispute resolution, with a primary emphasis on mediation. Prior to devoting his practice to dispute resolution and mediation, Ron worked both as a partner and managing partner in several Jacksonville firms, including his own. He welcomes the opportunity to mediate and assist parties in settling cases and will go the extra mile to facilitate a full and final resolution of any case in which he is involved.
