About Roberta Johnson
Roberta Walton obtained both her BSW and J.D. from Florida A&M University. She began her career in philanthropic development as a District Executive for the Boy Scouts of America. She later served in similar roles with the American Heart Association and Kids Incorporated, an early childhood human service agency prior to kicking off her legal career with Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida. Currently, she serves as the inaugural Division Manager at the Orange County Clerk of Court "Lydia Gardner Self Help Center." Prior to accepting this role she practiced Real Estate, Land Use and Business Law with Voight P.A. in Orlando, FL. Both personally and professionally, Roberta is devoted to serving her community. A former District Aide to the former District 6 Orange County Commissioner for eight years, she is a member of the Florida Bar Association, Orange County Bar Association, Paul C. Perkins Chapter of the Virgil Hawkins Bar Association, and serves on the Board of Visitors for Florida A&M College of Law. She is also the Past-President of the Southwest Orlando Junior Chamber of Commerce; 1st Vice-President and Charter Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Metro Orlando Chapter; Orange County Chapter of NAACP; and the Orlando Chapter of the Florida A&M University National Alumni Association. In addition to her responsibilities listed, she is an engaged mother of two boys.
