Robert Tonn

Rob is an experienced Commercial Litigator in all of its forms -- trial lawyer, risk manager, business counselor and trusted advisor. Above all else Rob understands his clients' businesses, their industries and their objectives. Clients from the Fortune 500 to closely held family businesses and from a broad and diverse range of industries -- from drug and medical device companies to automobile manufacturers and airlines, from the tobacco industry to a crematory manufacturer -- trust Rob to handle their most sensitive and highest stakes matters. Prior to practicing law Rob worked for a number of different technology companies including Apple. In his legal practice Rob has always been fascinated by the intersection of law and technology. He was an early adopter of technology to improve the practice both from a results and cost perspective. He is a founding member of Holland & Knight's Electronic Data and Discovery Team. He is also a frequent lecturer and thought leader on the topic of electronic discovery and data management and regularly counsels clients on matters involving data infrastructure, data privacy and cyber security.
