About Robert Livingston
My practice is focused in large part on representing injured plaintiffs in workers' compensation; personal injury; car, truck, and motorcycle accidents; dog bites; and trip/slip and falls. My clients are generally located in the western half of Iowa and the Council Bluffs/Omaha metro area, but I also regularly have cases throughout Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, and the Eighth Circuit. This is the result of many years of experience litigating these types of cases and making law or attempting to make favorable law in the Eighth Circuit and United States Supreme Court. I have also been called upon to defend municipal and civil rights cases and bet-the-farm litigation involving cities and counties. From that exposure, I am frequently called upon to consult with other regional lawyers who have taken on the defense of police and prosecutors in their particular jurisdictions. I have also been involved in many construction and products liability cases either as lead local counsel.
