Robert Gigliotti

About Me Born in Brooklyn and shaped by Los Angeles since 1977, I bring more than three decades of courtroom experience, judgment, and perspective to the clients I serve. I have represented individuals and families throughout California since 1991, with a primary focus on family law, including complex custody matters, high-conflict divorces, and trial-level litigation. In the early 2000s, I was appointed Minor’s Counsel by the Los Angeles Superior Court, representing children in high-conflict custody disputes—an experience that continues to inform how I approach cases involving families and long-term outcomes. Today, I serve as a Senior Family Law Trial Attorney at a statewide litigation firm. My work is grounded not just in winning cases, but in helping clients make informed, deliberate decisions—particularly when those decisions affect children, families, and lives well beyond the courtroom. I earned my undergraduate degree from Loyola Marymount University and my Juris Doctorate from the University of La Verne College of Law, attending nights, weekends, and summers while working full-time. That experience shaped my approach to the practice of law: prepared, disciplined, and focused on what matters most.
