Robert Diehl

Bob has served as the Chair of his Firm's Litigation Department since joining the firm in 2018 and has extensive experience representing clients in litigated matters involving employment law, corporate law, professional liability, consumer fraud and asset recovery, financial services related litigation and compliance, insurance coverage disputes, personal injury and property damage. Throughout his legal career, Bob has actively practiced in both State and Federal Courts throughout New York and New Jersey and has successfully represented both domestic clients and international clients based in Europe, Asia, and South America. Bob’s litigation experience, particularly in the areas of employment law, commercial law, and professional liability, is extensive. Bob has represented numerous claimants seeking damages for wrongful employment practices as well as seeking to negotiate the terms of their departure from their respective employers. Bob also serves as outside general counsel to various businesses and regularly assists corporate clients with crafting overall business strategies designed to minimize risks and protect business assets for long term growth. Throughout his career, Bob has also represented numerous licensed professionals, such as lawyers and accountants, in the defense of claims pertaining to their services. Separate from his legal practice, Bob also serves as a Board Member for the Essex County Workforce Development Board and serves as the Chair of the Small Business Subcommittee of the Board which connects entrepreneurs and small businesses with public resources to assist with the growth of their respective businesses.
